About Us

Advisor Estate Plans was born in 2023 from the belief that estate planning should feel empowering and accessible, not overwhelming and expensive.

I started this estate planning service because too many families are left vulnerable without a plan. I’ve seen firsthand how procrastination, confusion, and high costs prevent people from protecting their loved ones.

By 2023, we had sat through too many funerals in which families were not only left with devastation from loss but also with a tangled web of legal and financial chaos that followed incomplete estate plans. The COVID-19 pandemic revealed a gaping vulnerability in how most Americans think about their financial and legal preparations.

We saw families struggle to connect with elderly or sick loved ones, hesitate about medical decisions, and pay through the nose in legal fees—because key paperwork wasn’t in order or was just plain out of date. These were not abstract scenarios — people we knew, families we cared about.

The statistics were grim. Sixty-three percent of Americans have no will and even those who do generally neglect to update their papers. Each funeral was a harsh reminder of how unprepared many families are for life’s plot twists.

Advisor Estate Plans was born from a vision that estate planning could be affordable, accessible, and comprehensive. We wanted to deliver a service that could offer protection to families from the emotional and financial devastation we had seen time and again.

As financial advisors, combined with technology, we devised a streamlined process that enables clients to create comprehensive estate plans quickly and inexpensively. We had one goal – to protect one family at a time.

So, if you want finally to experience immense relief, peace of mind, and a powerful feeling of autonomy and control, schedule your free consultation today.

Watching My Friend Struggle During His Wife’s Coma Led Us to Simplify Estate Planning for Everyone

Mark and Susan, dear friends and clients of mine had been married for five years after meeting later in life. Both were in their 50s when they married, with long-established careers and separate financial lives.

They never combined their bank or brokerage accounts, instead settling into a routine where Susan paid some bills, like the mortgage, while Mark covered others. When Susan suffered a sudden brain bleed and fell into a coma, Mark was devastated. I visited the hospital every day, watching him sit by her side, praying she would recover while doctors and nurses tried to prepare him for possible end-of-life decisions.

Mark was overwhelmed—not only by the emotional toll but also by the practical challenges. Without a financial power of attorney, he couldn’t access Susan’s bank accounts to pay bills or medical expenses. Worse still, he had no idea what Susan wanted regarding life-sustaining treatments, leading to painful arguments with her family about her care. I referred him to attorneys, but even they couldn’t help because the necessary documents weren’t in place. Feeling helpless as a friend and advisor, I knew this situation couldn’t happen again.

Miraculously, Susan is recovering and getting back to work full-time. And yes, we helped them with their estate plan right away.

This experience—and countless others like it—inspired us to create an estate planning practice focused on ensuring every person has the powers of attorney and other critical documents they need before a crisis occurs.
